Welcome to the new blog!

Ruth and I have kept busy this year juggling work, play and our two little boys. Our passion for photography remains, however, and this fresh new blog serves to show how much we value our clients and friends.

Drop us a line to let us know what you think. We appreciate your input!

Sincerely,

Floyd

Tin & Ninh - A Wedding in Burbank, CA

Tin and Ninh are very dear friends of ours, and we were most honored to photograph their wedding day. There was such a great energy throughout the entire day. All the details were meticulously planned by Tin and executed to perfection.

Thanks to the Camato and Luong families for allowing us into your lives on this special day!

Kerry & Kyle - A Wedding in Yorba Linda, CA

We shot a beautiful wedding at the Nixon Library this past weekend. This gorgeous couple from Redlands, California, owns the dance studio Shake It Up on State Street. It was an amazing night filled with dancing, dancing and more dancing.

Thanks for a great time guys!

PossAbilities - Studio Work

These images are from an incredible shoot for Team Possabilities, an organization which increases awareness for the Loma Linda University Medical Center East Campus. I’ve been a member of Possabilities for a couple of years, and I jumped at the chance at photographing these courageous individuals.

Mike Easley at Vital Excess was also on hand for some creative direction and for natural light photography. Thanks, Mike!

Willie Stewart lost his arm working at a construction site. A few years later, he won a silver medal at the Paralympic Games for skiing. His passion is endurance sports.

Malek Mohammed lost his legs in his home country of Afghanistan when he stepped on a couple of landmines crossing a field on this way to work. He is an incredibly optimistic individual who plans on dedicating his life to helping others.

Eric Arrington was shot six times in the back to save his friends life. It cut short a promising professional football career. He currently coaches at local schools, counsels young people and encourages others who have suffered disabilities.

Delmon Dunston was wrestling with a friend when he suffered a spinal cord injury that left him paralyzed in both legs and unable to move some muscles in his right hand. He plays wheelchair rugby and is a support counselor for others facing life as a quadriplegic.

Stay tuned!

We have some really cool changes in store for everyone. Check back soon for the skinny!

Baby Session - Jonah at 9 Months Old

Last Sunday morning I went up into the cool hills at Chapman Heights to meet Melissa, Jeff and their son Jonah. What a little fireball of energy! This little boy and I hit it off quite quickly as he was equally intrigued by my clicking camera as I was of his buzzing personality. Even Grandma and Grandpa popped in for a little while. This family is truly blessed!
